How to feed
- Rabbits and guinea pigs: hay and fresh grass should make up most of their diet. Offer a few pieces a day as a treat or reward.
- Hamsters, gerbils, rats and mice: one or two small pieces at a time is plenty. Dwarf hamsters can be prone to diabetes, so keep sweet treats occasional.
- Introduce any new food gradually and always provide fresh water.
Treats complement a balanced diet; they don't replace it. Store in a cool, dry place.
